Year 2010 marks the second consecutive year in which SBOBET has been recognised with the industry award, proving its stellar performance in the international egaming market.
The eGaming Review Operator Awards is the premier egaming industry event of the year, recognising the outstanding achievements of the industry and rewarding companies who have been innovative, creative and really pushed the boundaries over the past year.
At a Glittering Industry Event held 30th November 2009 in London and attended by 2,000 industry leaders IOM based Celton Manx Limited scooped the Prestigious Award of Asian Operator of the Year.
The Egaming Review Awards is a Premier recognition of achievement and innovation in the Online Gaming Industry held this year at London’s Old Billingsgate Market.
The Award was accepted on behalf of the Shareholders of Celton Manx Ltd by Mr. Yew Choy Wong and Mr. Bill Mummery, Executive Director of Celton Manx Limited.
Speaking after the Awards Ceremony Bill Mummery commented “This is a fabulous achievement and recognition by our Peers across a Global Industry.
What is especially pleasing and noteworthy for the industry is all three short listed finalists are based in the Isle of Man which demonstrates the importance of the Island in this Global Industry.
It is very much a Team Award and I would like to pay tribute to Cecil Sng our Operations Director and every member of our crew both in the Isle of Man and Overseas for their Skills, Professionalism and Commitment that has resulted in this major Award.
We celebrate our first anniversary in a few days when we shall be at West Ham United for their game against Manchester United and this is the Icing on the cake – it will be quite a celebration.
After a very successful first year we look forward to the challenges and opportunities of the coming year with confidence and despite the current economic climate are forecasting significant growth in what is already a successful business model.”
Celton Manx Limited has been honored by the Isle of Man government and business community for their outstanding achievements in their first year of operations from the island.
They were presented with the Appleby Award for Excellence in the Use of Technology, a considerable accolade for the world’s leading technology deployed to deliver the best possible sports betting experience to customers.
Bill Mummery, Executive Director of Celton Manx Limited was also honored with the Collins Stewart Award for Business Person of the Year. He commented: “This is recognition of the professionalism of the whole team that has been dedicated to developing a truly outstanding business here in the Isle of Man for our group and shareholders.”
